Beyond Duncan from Bahía

Beyond Duncan is a movement of bodies and subjectivities arising from the encounter of experiences of dancers from Bahía in northeastern Brazil based on the legacy of Isadora Duncan. These beautiful women are dear friends, devoted dance colleagues and hold tremendously open hearts -- filled with joy and laughter! We met Cristiane Pinho, Mayana Magalhães and Rachel Neves, at the Isadora Duncan International Symposium and regularly communicate via What'sApp. Though I have not yet traveled to Brazil, one day it will be possible and we will share our love of sisterhood, Isadora & nature always with Axé  -- soul, light, spirit and good vibrations!
